I brought my wheels to Anocote a little over 6 months ago for powder coating. I was extremely satisfied with the work, but wanted to wait a few months before writing a review to see how things held up under driving. Results? Coating still looks great after 5,000 miles, some track time, and a replacement set of tires.

I also appreciate Kent's help in selecting a color (they nailed what I was looking for) and the company's transparency. There was a small flaw on one of the wheels and I was given the option of a discount, or having the work redone. I took the discount and honestly don't notice the flaw unless I spend time looking for it. Great people.

Talked with these guys and they were able to help me even though I didn't use their services. Quick response.

The glossy powder coat black is super nice. They do any color you select. They powder coat car frames, bikes, rims, any thing you can think of.

Kent replied in a very quick manner and delivered a quote for my wheels. His price is very competitive. This was my first powdercoating experience and it went smoothly but not without some hiccups.

The wheels were accidently powdercoated the wrong color but was corrected the next day. Apparently it was a mix up of orders. The wheels came out great however just 2 months the color I had chose developed a very unattractive swirls marks. I brought this up to Kent and he made it right without any effort. He offered to redo the rims without hassle. His customer service has sold me and I will be returning to bring my items for powder coating here. Pictures to be uploaded.

This is a before and after picture of my late grandmother's vintage Cosco stepstool. (For some reason I wasn't able to post a picture here, so I posted it separately). It had been sitting in my dad's basement for over 30 years, collecting rust and dirt. I tried restoring it myself, but it was too important to me and I didn't want to mess it up so I contacted Kent and sent him pictures, asking for a quote. He got back to me within an hour. I dropped it off for sandblasting, primer, and powder coating. Sonja took great care in masking off the chrome pieces so as not to get paint on them before coating the leg caps. I wasn't sure that could be accomplished, but as you can see from the finished product, she did a fabulous job! Thank you so much for bringing life back to my stepstool!

Anocote Power had my Banisters ready for pickup two day ahead of schedule. The price was excellent.

Went here to get my wheel faces powder coated. Had a pleasant experience. Prices were fair and the time estimate was accurate. I checked in on the progress and Kent was more than happy to update me on it. The finish product did have some imperfections however I was informed about this and was even asked if it was okay or not. Overall pleasant experience, good place to go if you're looking to have things powder coated

Called a few places to get a quote to powder coat my 4runner spare wheel. first place I went to quoted a price then when i went to drop off the wheel they doubled the price, not acceptable. Had to find a new place...

That's when I went by Anocote and talked to Kent and he said he could do it for close to the same price as the original and he would sand blast the wheel!!! Two days later and my wheel was complete and looks great.

Kent emailed me with an extremely reasonable estimate about 15 minutes after opening on a Monday morning. Two days later my rusted oxydized pitted antique metal magazine rack was being loaded into my car in pristine mint restored condition and under the estimate! I haven't handed over the VISA with such pleasure in a very long time. His crew is very customer and detailed oriented and the quality of work is very high. I can't recommend them highly enough. Forget everyone else, this is the place.

I can't believe i am writing a second review on a powder coating place but this place deserves the love! I am writing again to update on a previous review. My matte black coat on my rims still looks fresh as ever. I just gave them a wash at Gentle Touch Wash of Clairemont Mesa and these bad boys look brand new again. I have a new project coming up in June and I will definitely be sending it over to Kent over at Anocote Powder. San Diego needs more small business' run like this one.

They gave me an accurate quote within a few hours and then fulfilled the sand blast and powder coat of my moto tank and fender ahead of schedule. It was sick! Highly recommended that you check them out.

Extremely professional. They just took the work, did it, and billed me the amount they said they would. I had an unusual piece (5 ft metal sculpture) to be refinished. i sent a photo and got a quick estimate with a very fair price for sandblasting and powder coating. They even did some extra coating on one of the parts. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

I have had a full sized antique iron bed for years. Over the course of that time, the white paint was beginning to look shabby, and not in a chic sort of way. It was even showing light surface rust just under the surface of the remaining thin layer of paint. I knew that it was time to have it sand-blasted and re-painted.

My assumption was that I would be required to complete those two tasks at two separate locations. However, when I did an internet search, I found Anocote could accomplish both. I made a phone call, and was fortunate enough to connect with Sonya on my first attempt. She confirmed that Anocote could do the job, and even provided an initial estimate over the phone.

I delivered the bed to Anocote where I met Sonya and the owner, who offered me a number of paint samples from which to select. They provided me another estimate that was even less than the one quoted on the phone, and told me the job would take less than a week. In actuality, the job was finished in three days! If you are simply looking for a company to do the job competently, Anocote should be at the top of your list, but if you are looking for a company to exceed all of your expectations, then Anocote should be the only company on your list!

I loved the finished product and the customer service. Also got my rims the next day for an unbeatable price, definitely recommending this shop.

I took a bike frame to get powder coated. I turned it in on a Friday and it was ready by Monday afternoon. I cant guarantee that quick of a turn around for your project, but I was pretty happy when I found out wouldn't have to wait the 3 days that I was quoted :) The paint looks perfect and had zero imperfections. almost all of the holes were taped off or covered so that the threads wouldn't get painted. I'd definately reccomend.

I brought Anocote the frame to my car and not only did they give me the best rate in Souther California but, when I seen the complete project I was speechless. The work was flawless. I needed to have sandblasted and powder coated a couple of parts for my motorcycle that I've been building. So I emailed 9 shops throughout the county, 4 gave me insanely high prices with long turn around times, 2 turned me away for having "too small a project", and another 2 never answered back. Kent and his team at Anocote Powder are true lifesavers. Not only did he respond quickly, his quote blew the other guy's out the water and his turnaround time was within the same week. I purchased a big bird cage off of Craigslist. It had been repainted and the paint was chipping off. I brought it to Anocote Powder to sandblast and powder coat. They did a great job. I'm really happy with the results. Kent gave me a quote for the cage through an email (I sent him a pic). I thought the quote was very reasonable. I brought it in and got it back quickly . Wanted to mention Sonja as well. Super nice and helpful and took care of me when I brought the cage in. I was worried if there was any zinc in the powder coat (there is none) and Sonja researched it for me to find out for sure. I just moved my bird into the cage and he is loving it lol. Great job Anocote Powder. Love the cage now!

Anocote powder coated several suspension parts for my car. White strut brace for engine and silver chassis brace. The result was great. See attached pictures. I worked with Kent on this order. He was flexible and to understand exactly what I was looking for. Again a great result.

I called many places that either did not call me back, were outrageously priced, or did not have a facility large enough to do the job. Kent at Anocote answered the phone, gave me a prompt estimate and scheduled me quickly. I wanted the job done in a hurry so I could take a vacation with the boat. When I saw the completed trailer, I was BLOWN AWAY at how good it looked. It looked new. Every square inch was primed and powdercoated. Smooth as a baby's backside. The experience was completely positive. If you need powdercoating, Anocote receives my hearty recommendation.

I had no idea that you could powder coat things multiple colors or glow in the dark?! It seemed like they were pretty busy and I was able to drop off the bike and pick it up within 3 days!

We recently had our old (but favorite) patio furniture powder-coated by Anocote. I had received estimates from multiple different companies in San Diego and Anocote was about 1/3 the cost of anyone else. Their reviews on yelp were great so we went ahead with them. We are more than pleased with our new furniture. Kent obtained a color sample for us ahead of time, did a very professional job and on time! He and his staff were a a pleasure to deal with as well. We will be telling all our friends about your company, as a lot of people don't think about this option to restore their patio furniture.

I picked up an outdoor table top yesterday which they sandblasted and powder coated.  It was showing some rust spots and I called a well known large company in San Diego known for this service.  Their estimate was $225!  Kent at Anocote did in incredible job and at 1/3 the price I had received from another company..  It was complete in less that 7 days and is perfect.  I cannot recommend this business enough.  Quality of service, communication and a great set up for doing sandblasting and powder coating.  I've not left feedback on Yelp before, but this just couldn't be passed up.  This business deserves a "shout out"

I saw Kent's add on Craigslist and some samples of their work. I came in and was greeted by Kent.  He was a true professional and seemed to be looking to get the job done right.  After a brief walk through,  I decided to get my rims powder coated with fresh matte black coate. Damn was that a good choice! They did a really good job matching the color I was looking for and in addition they had the best pricing around. The quality of work speaks for itself. I would recommend these guys to anyone.
